Oli’s Story

As a student in 2004 and new to Plymouth I found a home in DCBC; far from the shiny excitement of a big student church. But the gritty reality of a community of people desperately seeking the kingdom of God in place that needed Gods love.

I loved being invited into the journey here and am who I am today largely because of the love, faith, joy, sorrow, pain, brokenness and community of DCBC. Living there were some of the best and most for filling years of my life seeing a community of Christians touch a community so much. DCBC is Such a blessing to Devonport and beyond. all the people that have gone through the WELCOME HALL (no coincidence in the name) over the years like myself carry its spirit with us where we are now.
