November Month of Prayer

We are in a month where prayer is going to be vital! We cannot meet in person, but how do we understand Authentic Community – the call to meet together daily.

The Evangelical Alliance have called for a national day of prayer this Friday (13th) because we are allowed to gather for private prayer, we have got permission to set up some prayer stations at the Mount Wise Neighbourhood Center.

The Prayer Room will be open on Friday from 10am-3pm; Saturday from 10am-3 pm and Sunday from 12pm-3pm. You will be able to register for a half an hour slot and can come as individuals, families or support Bubbles. (Details on how to register will be emailed out and on social media later this week)

But there are other ways you could pray – you may not be able to do all, but you could attempt one or two during November:

1. Pray the Lord’s prayer every day at 12pm- set a reminder on your phone, watch or wall, but let’s get into a daily habit

Let’s keep praying because as Paul says “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:18
