As a church, we have agreed that, for the foreseeable future, we will apply the following guidelines to keep people safe:

Outside–  we will continue meeting outside as our preferred way of meeting for as long as we are comfortable (and obviously when the weather allows) when we are outside we don’t have to wear masks, we can mingle easily, and sing. This will remain our preferred option

Inside – when we do meet inside we are going to keep some basic rules:

• Masks – to be worn when moving about BUT not when sat down

• Hand washing – we will still encourage people to sanitise hands when they enter

• Registration – we will still keep a record for the foreseeable future

• Singing – we will allow singing inside but would ask people to consider wearing a mask while singing

• Screens – we will get rid of the screens

• Seating – we will keep the seats spread out for the time being

• Mingling – yes, but with masks on

• Tea and Coffee – we will now serve tea and coffee as usual (please still bring your own mug)

• Offering – an offering box will be available, along with conactless and online versions

• Communion – we will take communion as we have been doing – in houehold groups, we will continue encouraging people to us the BSL “sign” for the peace rather than hug
