Prayer
We meet each Monday evening and pray for the church and the mission of the Church. We are open to anyone who has a heart for Devonport, whether members of DCBC or not.
Worship
Worship is at the heart of the church. We have a number of gifted people who lead our sung worship, but we are always open to people with a gift or a heart to help lead us into worship.
Pastoral
The team are particularly committed to caring pastorally for the church member, attendees and the wider community in the following ways:
Visiting members who are unable to make it to church on a regular basis
Providing support for and coming alongside members who have specific difficulties, if necessary referring them to appropriate agencies
Cooking for families during times of great need or in a crisis
Children and youth
We have several groups each Sunday for Children and Youth which meet downstairs in the basement, we also have a creche available.
Men & Women
The men meet up regularly on the first Saturday of the month in a local cafe to share lives and study the Bible together.
The Women have a monthly social which happens in various locations.
Small Groups
We have house groups that meet once a week to study in-depth. As well as traditional evening house groups, we also have a group that meet to watch movies together and a mid-week drop-in/coffee morning.
