Today is our prayer day; the theme is our finances and the growth of DCBC. On Monday, 9th November, we are setting aside today to fast (if we are able) and pray for both.
On the day:
-
Morning: pray at home
-
12 pm: Zoom prayer meeting. The link will be on the WhatsApp prayer group.
-
Evening: prayer walk, meeting at Mount Wise Neighbourhood Centre at 7 pm. It will last around 30 minutes.
Please pray for:
-
The merger with Arrabon Trust
Pray that it goes well, and that 22 Granby Street becomes more central to covering our costs. -
Our giving
We still need to increase giving over the long term. Pray for wisdom about how we do this, and for the generosity of our church family. -
Workers for Sunday mornings
We need someone committed to youth and children’s work. Pray that the right person or people come forward. -
Volunteers
We are open to people who would like to preach, lead services, or play in the worship teams. Pray that people would step forward. -
Families
Pray for families to get involved in church life, and for a welcome that makes them want to stay. -
Students
Pray that students would come along regularly, and that we are open to what they bring.
